Could Donald Trump pass a sanity test?

Keith Olbermann used Donald Trump’s own words and actions to score the president on a sanity test. And the results were… scary.

In his latest clip for GQ’s “The Resistance” series, Olbermann claimed that Trump achieved a 32 out of 40 on the Hare Psychopathy Checklist.

“The threshold for probably being a psychopath is 30 points,” said Olbermann, adding Trump may “still finish life as high as 36 points, since two of his questions pertain to criminal record and violation of parole, and there’s plenty of time for him on both.”

Olbermann used the checklist ― a clinical tool that helps to diagnose psychopathy ― to conduct a similar assessment on Trump in July 2016. The then-presidential candidate scored equally high numbers. The difference between then and now?

“In a president, the problem escalates to, you know, the possible end of the world,” Olbermann said.

Trump’s budget would cut a billion dollars from the Coast Guard

President Trump’s budget would cut $1.3 billion from the U.S. Coast Guard!
The USCG has a budget of about $9 billion.
President Trump wants to take that USCG money and give it to the Department of Homeland Security.  He wants to give that department a 6% increase and make their budget $43.8 billion.

President Trump talks about giving the “military” more money.  President Trump talks about his love of and support of law enforcement.

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is a branch of the United States Armed Forces and one of the country’s seven uniformed services. The Coast Guard is a maritime, military, multi-mission service unique among the U.S. military branches for having a maritime law enforcement mission (with jurisdiction in both domestic and international waters) and a federal regulatory agency mission as part of its mission set. It operates under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security during peacetime, and can be transferred to the U.S. Department of the Navy by the U.S. President at any time, or by the U.S. Congress during times of war.

The United States Coast Guard is a military and a law enforcement.  We need to hold down military spending but I do not think we spend enough on the USCG.

I fear that cutting money from the USCG is going to affect their motto:  Semper Paratus (Always Ready).

Shooting of Indian Man at a Bar in Olathe KS

Back in the early 70s, God I am old, I worked  for a security company as a patrol officer.  I forget the name of the bar but it was in Olathe (KS) and near the  Olathe Naval Air Station.  I had to go into the bar at about 2 AM and clear everyone out.
The bar always had a lot of people from the military base.  I did not look forward to closing a bar filled with marines but it was my job.  I can remember a few young USMC men saying they were not going to leave.  I was in my 30s.  I think any one of those 18 year old marines could have kicked my ass.  I just told them it was my job and they were done drinking for the night.  If they got up from their chair I just turned the  chair over and put it on their table.
I made it without getting into a fight.  But I was glad when I moved to a different job.

I wonder if that is the bar where the Indian man was killed the other day.  Srinivas Kuchibhotla, 32, was shot at a bar in Olathe.  It was a hate crime.

See the CNN story.

The shooter is reported to have said “Get out of my country.”

My comments on a video about Donald Trump and Ivanka

A policial hate site on YouTube called “Trump Truth Watch” made a very sick YouTube video about President Trump and his daughter Ivanka.
You all know I am NOT a President Trump supporter but that video caused me to create and post this video.

I made this ranting and raving video a couple of days ago.
Today I went to YouTube and the About tab and I found this:

Exposing the truth about the Trumps and all their allies. I'm into politics, conspiracies and the truth. I also post news clips related to the president, including of Kellyanne Conway, Sean Spicer and Stephen Miller.

One billion captioned videos

I read often BetaNews and find a lot of good information. They have an interesting report “Google exceeds 1  billion captioned videos on YouTube.”

“Around the world, there are many people with hearing impairments. This doesn’t mean that they are necessarily deaf — they may instead have severe hearing loss. Someone in my family, for instance, has to wear hearing aids. For these people, captioning on videos (text displayed on screen) can be a necessity, making it possible to enjoy a TV show or movie. Heck, it can be used by people without hearing issues too; they may need to mute their TV as to not wake family members.

Nowadays, captioning extends to internet videos too, including the very popular YouTube. In fact, today, Google announces that it has exceeded 1 billion captioned videos! While this is certainly an amazing accomplishment, the service’s automatic speech recognition can sometimes be very wrong — even comically so.””

I have 713 videos on YouTube.  I do not pay for captioning.  YouTube just gives that to videos.
I just checked my recent video:  President Trump’s lies and a discussion about Truth and Lies and the captioning I think on that video is excellent.

Here is that video below.

Trump vs Truth by John Oliver

John Oliver is back, and he’s launched his most challenging investigation yet.

On Sunday’s “Last Week Tonight” on HBO, the comic looked into reality itself, which is under assault by President Donald Trump and a White House that accepts “alternative facts.”

So what can you do when the president himself doesn’t seem to care what the facts are?

Try to teach him anyway… secretly.

Oliver is going to start running ads on some of Trump’s favorite TV shows that look a lot like some of the commercials already airing ― but with a slight difference.

Check it out above.
